Stetcyn's Word: Challenge

Stetcyn's extensive history working in orchard crops managing 250 acres of almonds and walnuts makes her a perfect fit to manage our Seeds For Bees program. 

A California native, Stetcyn holds a master of science degree in agriculture education and is licensed both as a PCA and CCA. She is passionate about the environment and agriculture and views every day as a chance to learn something new and to share what she discovers with others.

​Brett believes that the gifts from bees reach far beyond their honey and pollination services; a hardworking bee colony can teach us valuable lessons in being human... Lessons of the power we can find in unity, the beauty of our community and connections, and our collective capacity to inspire meaningful changes in the world around us.

With a mixed background in production farming and nonprofit program coordination, Brett joins the team at Project Apis m. as our Climate Smart Program Manager. She earned a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from UC Davis and is hopeful to share the benefits of cover crops with farmers to support soil stewardship, sustainable farm management and healthy bee populations for future generations.

Tessa Dingman

Communications Manager
​Tessa's Word: Creativity

Tessa believes in the power of creativity. Utilizing her creativity she aims to tell powerful stories about the wonderful activities going on at Project Apis m. She has a unique background in product development crafting engaging stories through design. In her past she developed designs for lighting, furniture, and sleep products such as mattresses. She brings her visual design skills and creative problem solving skills to the position of Communications Manager.

Tessa has a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design and brings her four years of marketing and design experience to Project Apis m. She is excited to be a champion for honeybee research and lead PAm in the marketing development for the Seeds for Bees program.
Outside of the office you can find Tessa sewing, doodling and whipping up delicious meals (mostly tacos).
