This month the University of Minnesota hosted many extra workers in their hive! Representing beekeeping from coast to coast, Project Apis m.’s Board of Directors made their way to Minnesota for a day-long meeting. It was a great opportunity to visit the new University of Minnesota Bee Lab for a tour, and since the Bee Informed Project also met there for a meeting that day, the three groups made sure to share a happy hour and BBQ afterward! Although we are all often traveling, having ‘beeple’ sit still for a day together just doesn’t happen often enough. Here are some fun photos from the day’s events.
